More than 30 minutes a day, more than 2.5 hours a week: that's the average time spent on strategic information research by 75% of corporate managers, according to a survey published in Quartz Insights and conducted among 940 executives worldwide. 36% of them even spend more than 60 minutes a day, or 5 hours a week! More than half of the time spent on this task is in the morning, as a priority.
But what information are these managers looking for, anyway? According to another study, this time by The Economist Intelligence Unit, more than ¾ of managers seek information about their market on a daily basis, with the intention of unearthing new business ideas: opportunities, best practices, trends, etc.
"Alone we go faster, together we go further."

However, the e-mail box remains the main sharing tool for over 80% of these executives. Unfortunately, this tool doesn't allow for content filtering or the gathering of relevant information for effective collaboration.
Even so, the email box is still the main sharing tool for more than 80% of these executives.
